The candidate will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, while leading by example in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead the shipping team and processes to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.</li> <li>Coordinate packaging and shipping processes to meet daily shipment goals.</li> <li>Work with production teams to ensure proper packaging of products in line with company standards and customer expectations.</li> <li>Ensure the production and output of high-quality parts and services while maintaining adherence to company standards.</li> <li>Lead by example and foster a respectful and safe working environment.</li> <li>Conduct start-up meetings and participate in relevant events as needed.</li> <li>Play a key role in developing team members through continuous learning, coaching, and improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Promote and implement continuous improvement ideas across the team.</li> <li>Ensure daily adherence to lean manufacturing principles like 5S and waste elimination.</li> <li>Lead or actively participate in process improvement events and initiatives.</li> <li>Ensure that best practices are sustained, reviewed, and improved as necessary.</li> <li>Fill in for absent team members when required.</li> <li>Track and report daily attendance and other performance metrics.</li> <li>Coordinate and assist other team leaders as needed.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
