Overview: <p>We are searching for an experienced Material Handler at our&nbsp;<strong>Mankato, MN</strong>&nbsp;facility.&nbsp;</p> <p>We have two positions available for the following shifts:</p> <ul> <li>1st Shift! Regular, daytime hours! Be part of our core team by working a schedule of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Hours may be flexible within reason and as long as they are consistent with business need.&nbsp;</li> <li>NEW WEEKEND SHIFT!!! The core hours for this shift are 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Weekend Team Members earn a 20% premium &mdash; built in to reflect 12-hour shifts, weekend work, and a Minimum 36-hour schedule.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We are looking for fantastic candidates with proven Forklift Experience for the positions we have available!</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop intimate knowledge of the processes supported.</li> <li>Pick up and drop off materials at pre-designated areas at scheduled intervals.</li> <li>Keep the workplace clean and organized to facilitate the efficient flow of materials.</li> <li>Movement of materials to their intended locations.</li> <li>5S activities for all responsible areas (sorting, organizing, cleaning, sweeping).</li> <li>Facilitate the flow of materials by participating in the production process including assembly, building of components, shipping, and receiving as needed.</li> <li>Transacting material to jobs and non-conformances.</li> <li>Work with purchasing and supply chain in the inventory management process including cycle counting, physical inventory, notification of stock-outs.</li> <li>Flexibility to cross-train as necessary.</li> <li>Other duties as requested by management.</li> </ul>
