Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collect, analyze, and report on costs related to raw materials, labor, inventory, and production activities.</li> <li>Prepare standard vs. actual cost reports and perform variance analysis.</li> <li>Support cost accounting processes tied to product design changes, materials, and manufacturing methods.</li> <li>Review and audit contracts, purchase orders, and vouchers for accuracy prior to approval.</li> <li>Ensure proper classification and documentation of financial transactions in accordance with internal controls.</li> <li>Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in entries, reports, and supporting documentation.</li> <li>Assist with accounting for reserves, assets, and expenditures.</li> <li>Recommend practical improvements to accounting procedures and cost control processes.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with operations and manufacturing teams to support accurate financial reporting.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li> <li>3&ndash;5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.</li> <li>Working knowledge of cost accounting principles.</li> <li>Experience using ERP systems and Excel for financial analysis.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.</li> <li>Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>Preferred (Not Required)<br /></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Experience in commercial or industrial manufacturing environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with GAAP and internal controls.</li> <li>CPA or CMA certification (or interest in pursuing one).</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>Growth Opportunity<br /></strong><br />This role offers clear room to grow as the business expands.
