We&rsquo;re committed to career growth and building a collaborative, inclusive workplace.<br /><br />We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with construction or data center installation experience to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.<br /><br /><strong>Summary<br /></strong><br />This role is focused on managing field-based installation projects on active construction sites. The Project Manager will coordinate directly with general contractors, subcontractors, and installation teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.<br /><br />This is not an IT project management role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in construction environments, data center builds, or equipment installation projects and is comfortable working onsite and traveling as needed.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li><em>Manage and maintain installation schedules for construction and job site</em>s.</li> <li>Coordinate closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and field crews.</li> <li>Oversee delivery logistics, site readiness, and installation timelines.</li> <li>Act as the primary point of contact for project execution and field-related issues.</li> <li>Review and prepare submittals, site documentation, and project requirements.</li> <li>Support installation teams during active projects, including onsite coordination when needed.</li> <li>Troubleshoot field issues and work with Engineering and Operations to resolve them.</li> <li>Take ownership of project challenges from identification through resolution.</li> <li>Ensure clear communication between customers, field teams, and internal departments.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of project progress, issues, and resolutions.</li> <li>Travel up to 50% to support project sites.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in construction project management, field coordination, or installation project management.</li> <li>Direct experience working with: <ul> <li>General contractors</li> <li>Subcontractors or trades</li> <li>Construction schedules and job site operations</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience in data centers, commercial construction, industrial projects, or equipment installation strongly preferred.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings or technical documents (CAD familiarity preferred).</li> <li>Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Infor, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus.</li> </ul> <br /><strong><br />Skills &amp; Qualifications:<br /></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to work across field teams and office teams.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple active job sites and deadlines.</li> <li>Hands-on problem-solving approach with a focus on execution.</li> <li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.</li> <li>Comfortable working in fast-paced, construction-driven environments.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements:<br /></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Combination of office and active construction site work.</li> <li>Regular site visits requiring: <ul> <li>Standing, walking, and climbing.</li> <li>Navigating active job sites and uneven surfaces.</li> <li>Lifting up to 50 lbs. when needed.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Must be able to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, boots, etc.).</li> </ul> <br /><strong><br />Safety &amp; Compliance:<br /></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements.</li> <li>Participate in safety training and promote safe work practices.</li> <li>Support company standards aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.</li> </ul>
