Full Time

Overview: We are searching for an experienced Welder at our Chicago, IL facility. <br /><br />This role is perfect for a candidate who just received there welding certification or has less than 1-2 years for experience and is looking to be apart of an amazing team!<br /><br />This pay rate starts at $20/hour Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30pm - Occasional overtime will be needed.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform ordinary and repetitive hand welding operations</li> <li>All MIG welding</li> <li>Care required in clamping parts in relative position to avoid distortion</li> <li>Operate welding equipment; regulate current and voltage or gas and feed rate for proper fusion of metals</li> <li>Heavy lifting maybe required</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.</li> <li>Must be able to plan and layout welding sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints, or specifications</li> <li>May layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using a tape measure, square, scribe, or templates</li> <li>Must be proficient at reading work orders</li> <li>A concern for quality control is a requirement.</li> </ul>
