Overview: We are searching for an experienced Welder at our Cincinnati, OH - Plant facility.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Studies blueprints or drawings of articles to be constructed or repaired, and plans sequence of fabrication and assembly operations to be performed.</li> <li>Perform basic welding skills; adjust welders to material being welded, select clamps, use jigs, fixtures, flame cut, plasma cut, drill material and other necessary equipment as required by the project</li> <li>Grinds and Polishes steel.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be able to read and interpret blue prints/drawings. </li> <li>Must be able to Mig and Tig weld. </li> <li>Must be able to grind and polish steel. </li> <li>Must be able to read a tape measure. </li> <li>Must have knowledge of and experience using basic hand tool and machinery usage (hammers, electric drills, drill presses, grinders, etc.) </li> <li>Must be able to obtain fork truck certification.</li> <li>Language Skills: Fluent in English language; including ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li> <li>Must be able to work some OT and Saturdays. </li> <li>Mathematical Skills: Basic math, addition and subtraction of fractions.</li> <li>Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. </li> <li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li> <li>Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
