Overview:
For the past 28 years, Seradex has been growing, and we've just had a record year. We specialize in building customized ERP solutions for enterprise clients. It’s tricky, and it’s exciting. In a field where a lot of big companies are offering box solutions, we take the time to understand what complex problems the client is trying to solve. Then, using the best technology and production methods, we innovate to improve their business outcomes and the way they work.

We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we're serious about innovating customized solutions on a proven framework and the accountability methodology. If you are ready to jumpstart your career and you are passionate about working with smart people and intelligent processes, this is the place to be.

Who we need

We are adding an ERP Implementation Specialist to our team. This is an opportunity to work with enterprise clients as part of an agile company. It’s a chance to learn and to expand your customer-facing and technical skills as you provide professional and functional consulting services throughout the project life cycle (typically 6 to 18 months) to ensure successful delivery of the agreed scope of work. As part of the project team, you will be hands-on throughout the implementation of the business solution, and you will collaborate to maintain a high level of business, systems and product understanding.

Who you are

You are currently providing implementation or tech support at a large enterprise company. Ideally, you have hands-on knowledge of an ERP system from the provider or client side. You want a head-office closer to home and a chance to be part of a unique company culture. You are looking for an opportunity to boost your client exposure, expand your ERP technical skills and grow your career.

Responsibilities:
What’s in it for you

At Seradex we are all about the awesome, and it falls under one of three groups: technology, relationships, and fun.

Technology. We’ve excelled in our area; and as a smaller company, we continue to do big things. We’re an established longterm software provider in the competitive world of ERP, and yet we retain the responsiveness of a startup. We pivot to use the latest technologies such as Angular, and we work with IOT, using machine intelligence to provide us with up-to-the-second performance information directly from the manufacturing floor. As an Implementation Specialist, you will:

Implement, test and deploy the Seradex software solution or module(s) as defined in the Project Scope.

Review data files for conversion and loading into the Seradex application.

Effectively complete all required project activities on time, on budget and of the highest quality.

Relationships. This is an exciting opportunity, to be part of a responsive project team. You will:

Manage client expectations and concerns in conjunction with the Project Manager.

Help ensure the project is delivered within scope and client expectations are exceeded.

Deliver multiple projects concurrently.

Escalate issues and concerns to the Project Manager.

Fun. Let’s be honest. It’s a rare combination to be both a people-person and someone who can work heads down, writing code to solve problems. If that happens to be you, you’re going to love this. You’ll have fun jumping from client to client; project to project and from city to city. When you’re in the office, you’ll report up to our Project Supervisor Kristin, who beyond having her finger on the pulse of everything going on, is an active social committee member who will rope you into events like escape rooms and watching a magic show in the office.

Requirements:
What you bring

A combination of education and experience. You have a diploma or degree in Information Technology or Business. You have one year of implementation or IT experience in a consulting or manufacturing environment. You possess knowledge of business processes, and you can demonstrate consistent technical accuracy. You have advanced software skills in Excel (Vlookup, SUMIFS, etc.) and relational databases. Ideally, you have exposure to Epicor, Visual, Syspro or similar ERP systems and software, accounting software or SQL databases.

A customer service focus. You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable picking up the phone to ask a question or obtain information. You can take a consultative approach to understand complex problems and business needs; by the same token, you can translate technical solutions into non-technical language. You can handle conflict, meet deadlines and exhibit sound judgment and outstanding analytical skills. You are a positive presence in the office or at the client site, open to feedback. You are willing to travel up to 50% of the time within and outside Canada and must possess and be able to maintain a valid passport.

A desire to learn and grow. You are a lifelong learner, a seeker of new tools, and up-to-date on best practices. You believe in the power and effect of continuous learning. At Seradex, we want to support your learning and your growth. We have an extensive onboarding program that combines self-learning modules, shadowing peers, a library of work to draw from, access to an internal tech support group and ongoing coaching. The doors are open, and the atmosphere is laid-back despite the hum of busy project teams, professional services, and developers all coming together to innovate solutions.

Why commit to a career with Seradex:

We streamline, automate, optimize, all for the benefit of our clients.

We make businesses run better for our clients in the manufacturing industry.

We offer flexible and autonomous work environments.

We are made up of friendly teams that collaborate.

We are a place where the best idea always wins.

If you’re looking to start – and grow – your career at a place where you can be an integral part of the team and gain instant hands-on experience in the world of ERP Solutions, Seradex is the place to be.
