Shareworks by Morgan Stanley is designed to simplify the complexities of equity plan management, while helping employees realize the full potential of their benefits.<br /><br />Our employees have helped us get to where we are today; and as we continue to scale towards being the incomparable leader in our industry, we are looking for a <strong>Relationship Manager</strong> to help write the next chapter with us.<br /><br />Based in either <strong>San Francisco, California or Sandy, Utah</strong> you will be responsible for managing communications with current clients of our valuations practice to ensure they renew their service and identifying upsell opportunities to our other products. As part of ongoing relationship management efforts, you will regularly interact with decision makers of their target companies including: CEOs, CFOs, Controllers and financial managers.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Delivering profitable sales revenue against an individual sales quota</li> <li>Foster client loyalty through Shareworks by Morgan Stanley&rsquo;s standard client interaction protocols and proactive client retention initiatives including client meetings, corporate communications, quarterly partnership meetings, etc.</li> <li>Working proactively and professionally with, and to support the efforts of, internal groups (including inside sales, technical sales support, and marketing)</li> <li>Working with decision makers within key prospects to match their needs to our solutions</li> <li>Track customers and prospects via Salesforce CRM</li> <li>Forge relationships with strategic partners such as incubators, accelerators, venture firms, law firms, banks, and industry organizations in tech and life sciences</li> <li>Attend relevant local networking events</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Finance, or a related field</li> <li>1-2 years of demonstrated success in account management, client services, or B2B sales</li> <li>Ability to develop productive relationships with senior decision makers within private companies</li> <li>Demonstrated interest in the Startup and VC ecosystem ; prior exposure to these sectors would be an asset</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency the Microsoft office suite, including intermediate level Excel</li> <li>Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems a plus, but not a requirement</li> <li>Demonstrated effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention-to-detail</li> <li>Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities</li> </ul>
