Shareworks by Morgan Stanley is designed to simplify the complexities of equity plan management, while helping employees realize the full potential of their benefits.<br /><br /><strong>The Role:</strong> Business Development Representative, EMEA<br /><br />The <strong>Business Development Representative</strong> is responsible for developing relationships with prospective customers and identifying new sales opportunities. This role will report to the Director, Revenue Marketing Operation and support the Senior Development Manager, so some administration will be required. The successful candidate will work extensively with the Marketing and Sales teams and is recommended for someone with experience, but possibly at the early stages of their sales career.<br /><br />Solium is a fast growing Company where every member of our team is integral to our success. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Evaluate inbound leads generated by Marketing activities</li> <li>Through extensive (telephone) dialogue with prospective customers, determine fit and timing for new sales opportunities.</li> <li>Educate prospective customers on new and existing capabilities of the software platform</li> <li>Nurture existing leads through ongoing phone and email communications</li> <li>Validate and update sales lead information in the company CRM (SalesForce.com)</li> <li>Work with Marketing to create sales and marketing materials that support lead generation and nurturing activities</li> <li>Other responsibilities assigned as required</li> <li>Off-hour work will be required (early and late shift)</li> </ul>
Requirements: Ideal candidate: <ul> <li>Experience in an inside sales role, preferably in B2B and preferably in software</li> <li>University graduates preferred</li> <li>Ability and ideally experience navigating corporate structures to identify decision makers</li> <li>Understanding of Salesforce desired, but not required</li> <li>Additional languages highly desired, but not required</li> <li>Strong time management and organizational skills</li> <li>Interest in and awareness of international business issues, entrepreneurship</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communications skills</li> </ul>
