Overview: As a Process Engineer, you’ll provide a complete production solution for new and existing products. Will work on manufacturing plant floor. Process Engineer with compliance experience, medical devices preferred, root cause analysis and manufacturing.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Be a member of the functional team, assisting to achieve operation objectives.</li> <li>This position is on-site, working cohesively with others to ensure our production line is operating at its most efficient.</li> <li>Provide process and line support for products manufactured.</li> <li>Root cause analysis, remediation, change order processes.</li> <li>Ensure products and processes are cost effective.</li> <li>Undertake new product introduction as required.</li> <li>Deliver direct line support to products manufactured, resolve assembly technology and quality issues, training the skill of the operator.</li> <li>Develop the manufacturing processes of products ensuring they are economical and waste free.</li> <li>Use of problem-solving methods (ie: RCA, 5-why, fish-bone diagrams, etc.) to assess resolve issues at the source.</li> <li>Demonstrate knowledge and use of lean thinking methodologies&mdash;lean tools and waste identification/elimination.</li> <li>Assure compliance of company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).</li> <li>Performs additional duties as assigned by manager.</li> <li>This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).</li> <li>Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or above in engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical or Materials Engineering. Knowledge of mechanical design preferred.</li> <li>Desired familiarity with mechanical drawing software, such as&nbsp;SolidWorks.</li> <li>Experience in medical device, aerospace, automotive or pharmaceutical industry required. Knowledge of compliance processes desired.</li> <li>Strong computer knowledge is required including Windows, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Education requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
