Overview: <p>Our employees have helped us get to where we are today; and as we continue to scale towards being the incomparable leader in our industry, we are looking for a <strong>Director, Global Private Market Sales </strong>to help write the next chapter with us.</p> <p>Located in the private markets hotbed of <strong>San Francisco, California</strong> the Director, Global Private Market Sales will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of sales executives to achieve the business unit&rsquo;s sales goals while building a distribution organization that will dominate new business in the various markets that are key for Shareworks success.We&rsquo;re looking for someone who can engender trust and reputational equity in the market, and drive towards the organization&rsquo;s sales goals.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Build an integrated sales and business development approach to drive a high performance sales engine across global private markets products</li> <li>Identify, procure and realize new sources of profitable revenue</li> <li>Partner with Marketing to spearhead awareness of the complete Shareworks suite of solutions</li> <li>Mentor and lead a high-performing Sales team with best practices in sales and market development that will enable Shareworks to be the leader in equity compensation</li> <li>Achieve organic recurring revenue growth targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, inspiring sales leadership, and accept personal ownership of the largest commercial opportunities</li> <li>Ensure Sales team is adopting best practices, such as Salesforce administration, maintenance and reporting, reliable Sales pipeline on-demand reporting, consistent pricing methodology and application of pricing, collaborating with global colleagues on multi-national opportunities and maintaining strong market analysis and segmentation strategies</li> <li>Maintain vital relationships with senior client contacts across Shareworks customer organizations</li> <li>Keep Shareworks Sales Team and Relationship Managers apprised of competitor activity and market activities in all of our target markets</li> <li>Maintain a consistent standard of excellence in all interactions with prospects, including product demonstrations, RFP preparation, and quality and reliability of pricing proposals</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>College or university diploma or degree in Business, Economics or similar</li> <li>Minimum 7 years in an Account Management or Sales role; experience in a software or technology environment is preferred</li> <li>Proven success in building, leading and enabling high-performing sales teams is a must</li> <li>Demonstrated success in B2B or consultative sales with any of the following is considered an asset:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>SaaS solutions</li> <li>equity compensation solutions (e.g., stock options, restricted stock, ESPPs)</li> <li>finance or accounting solutions</li> <li>HR benefits programs</li> <li>Brokerage solutions</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience in the equity or share plan industry, including group and retirement plans, would be beneficial but not required</li> <li>Proven excellence in written and oral communication and presentation skills for a wide variety of audiences</li> <li>Ability to effectively present a variety of service solutions by directing a diverse range of company resources in a team-selling dynamic</li> <li>Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 50% of time within and outside North America</li> </ul> <p><em>While we thank all applicants for their interest in a career with Shareworks by Morgan Stanley, please note that only those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.</em></p>
