Overview: As a Business Development Manager with Spira Data Corp, you exercise sales skills to establish relationships with prospective clients to fit our software products and services into their operational work flow. You will identify their needs and work with the team to provide innovative solutions.
Responsibilities: You will connect and confer with clients to identify and document requirements, educate prospects on the benefits of Spira and how it will create value within their organization. The primary focus of this role is new business development.
Requirements: <ul> <li>Sales and business development experience.</li> <li>Prospect development</li> <li>Ability to work within a team environment, and particularly in a matrixed company and client scenarios.</li> <li>Ability to independently identify, investigate and develop solutions to problems.</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in software productivity tools (word processing, statistical, spreadsheet, presentation and database software) to meet goals of position.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to function independently, with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to exercise good judgment in protection and dissemination of Spira confidential and proprietary information.</li> <li>Ability to establish friendly, professional and cooperative relations with internal and external contacts during the course of work.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent presentation skills including preparation for and execution of executive meetings (strategic direction, materials development, planning, etc.).</li> <li>Ability to work in a small and agile company that has a team-oriented &ldquo;getting things done&rdquo; attitude with contagious passion and energy</li> <li>A leader, a committed team player, organized, and persistent with a strong work ethic, and have excellent communication skills</li> </ul>
