Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you get to do!</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop a transportation division.</li> <li>Perform transportation modeling utilizing Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, etc.</li> <li>Prepare traffic impact/access management studies.</li> <li>Design traffic signals and coordinated systems.</li> <li>Design traffic management plans.</li> <li>Assist in planning, design and construction administration of transportation plans.</li> <li>Develop and enhance new and existing client relationships.</li> <li>Project supervision to ensure progress and on-time, high-quality deliverables.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What qualifications you need!</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of prior related experience, 8-10 yrs preferred.</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.</li> <li>Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of South Dakota or eligible for licensure.</li> <li>PTOE certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.</li> <li>Demonstrated track record of successful past employment.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, etc.).</li> <li>Familiar with the development of Traffic Impact Studies.</li> <li>Must be able to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to get the job done.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, organization and multi-tasking skills.</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment within a small office.</li> <li>Strong technical, written and oral communication skills.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software platform.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>What preferred qualifications we desire!</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in transportation engineering.</li> </ul>
