Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Conducts general orientation for all new employees.</li> <li>Teaches Nurse Aide curriculum, administers quizzes, written examinations and skills performance checklists to trainees.</li> <li>Maintains records and correspondence with the ODH Nurse Aide Training and Competency Unit (Ohio locations).</li> <li>Maintains all correspondence, curriculum and student records per PA Department of Education and HCF standards - (Pennsylvania locations).</li> <li>Conducts state approved nurse aide training program.</li> <li>Assists nursing assistants to register for State Testing.</li> <li>Plans and conducts in-service education as directed by DON and LNHA.</li> <li>Follows appropriate Infection Control and Safety Practices.</li> <li>Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors.</li> <li>Participates in &ldquo;Nurse On-Call&rdquo; program and QA process.</li> </ul> <br />
