Overview: For over 70 years Global Industrial has been an industry leader providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses throughout North America.<br /> <br /> We carry over 1.7M industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions and government agencies as well as consumers.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Serve as an intermediary between the sales force and our suppliers and manufacturers</li> <li>Provide resolutions to product related questions for our sales staff</li> <li>Communicate with with product managers and vendors to source special products and pricing quotes</li> <li>Be a technical expert on your assigned product line(s) to provide accurate and rapid assistance</li> <li>Work as part of a collaborative team</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>1-2 years experience in customer service, sales support or related business experience</li> <li>Skilled at interpreting and distilling complex or technical information for others</li> <li>Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints</li> <li>Outstanding oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Excellent PC skills required in Microsoft Office</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and organizational skills</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree is a plus but not required</li> <li>Industrial equipment product knowledge a plus</li> </ul>
