Overview: The primary responsibility of this role is to engage in incoming and outgoing sales and service interactions with Verizon customers and our retail locations across the country. Successful candidates will be able to discuss, recommend, and close on inbound and outbound order opportunities. This hourly and commissioned position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding monthly goals, staying informed on the latest devices, promotional offers, and excelling through individual and team performance.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Handle incoming and outgoing interactions with new and existing customers regarding opportunities and sales over the phone.</li> <li>Promote and recommend additional account opportunities to drive incremental revenue.</li> <li>Communicate effectively.</li> <li>Stay productive while working independently and as a team member.</li> <li>Stay organized with customer follow-ups and order escalations.</li> <li>Stay informed using announcements, training, updates, and certifications.</li> <li>Document all calls, tasks, and appointments.</li> <li>Monitor and track daily productivity, sales performance, and opportunities.</li> <li>Drive sales activity through personal networks and lead management.</li> <li>Energetic yet compassionate phone skills required.</li> <li>Great problem-solving ability.</li> <li>Highly motivational and possesses persuasion skills.</li> <li>Ability to quickly overcome objections and think on your feet.</li> <li>Ability to stay extremely organized.</li> <li>Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking.</li> <li>Self-starter with little to no supervision needed.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills; oral, written, facilitation and presentation.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -17px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>3 year + experience and success in a commissionable sales position preferred.</li> <li>Previous call center or wireless industry experience a plus.</li> <li>High School Diploma</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -57px; top: -20px;">&nbsp;</div>
