It&rsquo;s storytelling, ghost writing and advertising all rolled into one. We need someone who can write engaging content for our hiring managers; draft eye-catching social media bursts; and create job ads that stand out in a sea of hundreds.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Whether you have an outstanding business acumen, along with exposure to recruiting and marketing, or you are a recent grad eager to learn, adapt and build out your branding skills, you have the ability to take mountains of information and distill it down to essential messaging. Your thoughtful writing excites the reader and encourages them to take action -&nbsp; whether that&rsquo;s to research a company, refer a friend, share the content or apply for the role.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>What&rsquo;s in it for you</strong></p> <ul dir="ltr"> <li>Impact. Responsibilities: <p dir="ltr"><strong>Here&rsquo;s what you will do as our Junior Copywriter, Employer Branding:</strong></p> <ul dir="ltr"> <li>Write. You will write job ads, emails, social media postings, blog entries, and other content for our clients.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support. You will create visual job ads using our online tool and assist with posting and promoting job ads across multiple online sources.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Chief Storyteller. You will partner with the Chief Storyteller to create and edit content marketing initiatives working with clients. You will adapt your writing style and tone to fit the needs of the client, aligning content with their own internal branding guidelines.</li> <li>Meet deadlines.<em>&nbsp;</em>You will stay on-task, delivering copy and content for review and approval internally within the predetermined deadline. Our ability to attract talent and build out a pipeline starts with an awesome job ad.</li> <li>Edit. You will use Grammarly or a similar technology to ensure your copy is error-free.</li> <li>Grow relationships. You will get to know the team, who does what, where they sit, what card game they&rsquo;ll steal from you at every Holiday gift exchange and what roles they are working on. You will grow into a subject matter expert, offering insights into the talent pool, the best working job titles and how to engage candidates.</li> <li>Help us build our brand. You have hands-on experience as part of an incredibly fast-moving team, with multiple parts, people, deliverables, and layers. Whether that&rsquo;s as a customer service team, academic groups or projects, work outside of Canada or directly related to what you&rsquo;ll do here, we&rsquo;re interested to see how you present yourself as the person for this role.</li> <li>A sense of fabulousness, fun, and fashion (A love of the colour turquoise will definitely garner bonus points!). You also have a strong karaoke repertoire.</li> <li>A commitment to treating people well, to appreciating hard work, to inspiring loyalty, to motivating participation, to being accountable.</li> <li>An unbeatable communication style.
