Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>Support and advise.</strong></em>&nbsp;Employees are the face of this company, and our client truly puts their people first. In your role as an HR Business Partner, you will ensure employees receive the highest level of service as they reach out on challenges and urgent needs. You will connect and provide your expertise to leaders and managers across regions to help resolve complex business issues and develop innovative solutions to support their business priorities.</li> <li><em><strong>Talent.&nbsp;</strong></em>You will partner with the company&rsquo;s recruitment partners and hiring managers to hire the right people, build a talent plan that can scale and build a future talent pipeline. Collaborating with on-site leadership and our talent partner, you will guide the onboarding and performance management processes, engagement initiatives and retention strategies.</li> <li><em><strong>Systems and administration.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will ensure that all people databases (e.g. HCM, Payroll) are streamlined, accurate and optimized to provide the best value and employee experience. In this role, you will oversee the administration of pay and benefit activities, resolving issues and providing insight into key analytics to support leaders in productivity measures. You will work closely with the managers and key contributors on developing the company&rsquo;s pay and rewards philosophy, along with the development of programs that connect the company culture.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>Education and experience.</strong></em>&nbsp;You have a degree or diploma from a post-secondary institution and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. In addition, you will have at least 3 years multi-province payroll experience. You will have your CHRP designation and experience in healthcare, retail/service and/or an understanding of the healthcare industry.</li> <li><em><strong>Communication.</strong></em>&nbsp;You have experience working with people and leaders to find the best solutions to fit their needs. You love building relationships with people and nurturing those relationships. You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and can explain your ideas and thoughts in a variety of ways to get your point across. You are comfortable communicating on the phone, by email or in person - sometimes all at once.</li> <li><em><strong>Flexibility and organization.&nbsp;</strong></em>You are an expert at juggling multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines all while keeping your cool. You can prioritize, manage and organize a myriad of tasks as they come up throughout the day from clients or other team members. You can easily change your course of action to address changing needs and requirements while still delivering on deadlines.</li> <li><em><strong>Empathy and respect.&nbsp;</strong></em>To provide our people with the best employee experience, we need someone who can be empathetic to our people&rsquo;s needs and circumstances. You can navigate any situation in a friendly, professional and compassionate manner.</li> <li><em><strong>Technical skills.</strong></em>&nbsp;You are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems and are comfortable working on a computer, navigating various software and databases.
