Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supervise the day-to-day Quality and Inspection activities in Receiving Inspection (R/I);&nbsp;Directly supervises 10 + employees.</li> <li>Coordinate with Production Planning, Managers and Leads to decide scheduling and inspection priorities.</li> <li>Assign day-to-day tasks to inspectors to meet schedule and priority requirements.</li> <li>Ensure inspectors compliance with the Receiving Inspection Processes, Statistical Sample Inspection standard, and programs (safety, duty time, quality and company policies and procedures) during work shift.</li> <li>Must be able to understand, create, perform, maintain and monitor charting, metrics, data analysis, performance efficiencies and key performance indicators for both the MRB and receiving inspection areas and employees.</li> <li>Must be able to work on assignments that are complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and make recommendations with minimal assistance.</li> <li>Provide technical guidance and administrative support to the R/I Inspectors.</li> <li>Track department and individual inspector&rsquo;s performance and generate reports showing department and individual inspector&rsquo;s performance.</li> <li>Report unresolved inspection, MRB issues and regulatory issues to the Quality Manager.</li> <li>Facilitate the Receiving Inspection rejection reports dispositions and approvals in Receiving Inspection and supports in MRB.</li> <li>Perform Incoming Inspection of electronic assemblies and mechanical parts to drawing requirements.</li> <li>Provide leadership to product inspection team while enhancing workflow, productivity, and efficiency in the areas of Receiving Inspection.</li> <li>Provide guidance on technical issues, workmanship standards, engineering documentation clarification, First Article Inspection, and preliminary review for MRB disposition.</li> <li>Assist Quality Engineering in root cause analysis, product containment, recommends and supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate recurring non-conformances.</li> <li>Part of the PMRB, MRB, Lean and improvement teams.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to iTAR restrictions.</li> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred, preferably in Engineering, Mechanical or Business.</li> <li>At least a minimum of five (5) years&rsquo; in Quality Assurance in Aerospace, Material Review Board (MRB), FAA PMA environment.</li> <li>At least a minimum of five (5) years as a Manufacturing/Quality Supervisor.</li> <li>Recent IPC-600, IPC-610, IPC-620 preferred.</li> <li>Proficient to Strong Skills in Microsoft application tools: Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Project, Visio.</li> <li>Presentation Skills, Facilitation Skills, Charting Skills.</li> <li>Experience with TIPQA Data Base and File-Maker Pro Data Base is preferred.</li> <li>The candidate should have an excellent technical understanding of PCBs, PCBAs, and electronic assemblies. Includes IPC-610 class 2, IPC-620, conformal coating, crimping, wire harness, mechanical assembly, sheet metal, machined and metal parts precision inspection, and cosmetic inspection.</li> <li>Experience in AS9100 &amp; ISO9001 Quality Management Systems, performing First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102 and Material Review Board (MRB).</li> <li>The job may require to-work in an ITAR environment with direct access to electronic components and assemblies defined under and pertaining to defense and military related technologies.</li> <li>This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday within one hour plus/minus of 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm.
