Full Time

Rate: $17 USD per hour

Overview: <p>We are currently hiring<strong>&nbsp;an&nbsp;<a href="https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:d5f54f63-7423-49de-aeef-4355ae161495" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Early Intervention Professional</a></strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>to join our team.&nbsp;&nbsp;You will teach infants and toddlers in a classroom setting. You will also develop and facilitate customized action plans together with your families to reduce developmental delay and provide support to the family constellation in the coping process.</p> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Invested in working with infants and children that have disabilities</li> <li>Passionate about helping to empower others to reach goals and plans</li> <li>Comfortable in diverse situations and adaptable to cultural differences, values or opinions</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <p>Providing tailored and meaningful programming and teaching skills to children and their parents including:</p> <ul> <li>Planning, organizing, and implementing weekly infant/toddler programs at the child&rsquo;s home or in a center setting.</li> <li>Assisting with planning and implementing community outings.</li> <li>Offering support and information for parents.</li> <li>Working closely with other teachers, parents, and professionals to implement their ideas into the program.</li> <li>Writing and updating bi-yearly goals and assessments for all children on your caseload.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in associated subject matter</li> <li>Have 1-year related experience and/or training working with children with developmental disabilities.</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Immediate and continued access to own vehicle with working seat belts.</li> <li>Valid CA Driver&rsquo;s License with a clean driving record</li> <li>Ability to lift 25 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We&rsquo;d love it if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Were multi-lingual</li> <li>Used person-centered approaches and strategies to fully engage and include participants</li> <li>Had experience with electronic case management systems (Therap)</li> <li>Took pride in maintaining strong relationships, personal goals and values</li> </ul>
