Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supporting Residential Nursing Services division with all administrative duties&nbsp;</li> <li>Managing medical record document storage management&nbsp;</li> <li>Placing and receiving phone calls to vendors, medical consultants, insurance companies etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensuring several parallel and time-sensitive projects are completed by deadlines&nbsp;</li> <li>Following The Arc of San Diego&rsquo;s medical records request protocol&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Associate&rsquo;s degree (AA) with at least one year as a&nbsp;Medical Administrative assistant &nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of healthcare operations&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience using electronic case management systems (THERAP)&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with medical and insurance legislation&nbsp;</li> </ul> <br /> <p>&nbsp;<strong>We&rsquo;d love it if you:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Had strong knowledge of computer and operating systems (MS Office, Zoom)&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and organizations skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Are multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog)&nbsp;</li> <li>Had prior experience drafting medical communications with client&rsquo;s families/conservators &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The Arc of San Diego is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
