Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Organize, prepare and maintain confidential payroll record information</li> <li>Maintain payroll and voluntary deduction files and records</li> <li>Provide payroll support to employees,</li> <li>Provide administrative support to HR and Finance teams</li> <li>Generate payroll reports from Human Resource Information System (UKG)</li> <li>Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies</li> <li>Maintain payroll operations, follow policies and procedures and report needed changes</li> <li>Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li>Payroll Expertise: 1-2 years of applied experience in human resources, accounting or bookkeeping with at least six (6) months of experience in payroll preferred.</li> <li>Excel Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to analyze large data sets efficiently and effectively.</li> <li>HRIS User: Previous experience using UKG HRIS in a human resources or payroll capacity.</li> <li>Integrity: Solid judgment, personal integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive &amp; confidential information.</li> <li>Detail-Oriented: Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and quantitative skills.</li> <li>Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.</li> <li>Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.</li> <li>Fast learner, flexible and able to perform in a multi-task in a busy work environment.</li> <li>Bilingual: Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred).</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Why Join The Arc of San Diego</strong></p> <p>Working with us means more than just a job; it's an opportunity to make a difference in our community.
