You will be assisting our team in maintaining over 20 facilities located around San Diego County. If you&rsquo;re hard-working and dedicated there is room to grow in this position!<br /> <br />Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4pm<br /> <br />Salary Range: $25-28 per hour (based on tenure)<br /><br /> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Task-oriented individual comfortable working on your own</li> <li>Can-do attitude with a teamwork approach to getting work done</li> <li>Excited by a myriad of different things to accomplish with each day being busy but different</li> <li>Desire to work in an environment mission-focused on serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities</li> </ul> <br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supporting building and grounds maintenance of multiple facilities</li> <li>Tracking service requests through a web-based program</li> <li>Identifying root causes or recommending best practices for ongoing issues if not immediately identified</li> <li>Performing multiple physical maintenance tasks such as: repairing leaks, repairing drywall, painting, minor plumbing replacement, outlet/plug/bulb replacement, digging trenches, repairing fences</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll need to be successful:</strong></p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Physically capable of performing a range of tasks; including moving and lifting equipment and materials up to 100 pounds; ability and willingness to work in adverse weather</li> <li>Valid CA Driver&rsquo;s License</li> <li>Experience in residential and/or commercial building maintenance tasks</li> </ul> <p><strong>We&rsquo;d love it if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Had experience with using computer systems to track service requests</li> <li>Had professional drywall and painting experience</li> </ul> <br /> <p>The Arc of San Diego is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
