You&rsquo;ll ensure that residents receive <strong>personalized support</strong>, while supervising staff and maintaining a safe, and nurturing environment.</p> <p><strong>The pay range for this position is $23.00-$23.65 depending on years of service.</strong></p> <p><strong>Schedule: Tuesday 11am-7pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday &amp; Friday 11am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-6pm<br /></strong></p> <p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A compassionate leader who is passionate about <strong>helping others thrive</strong>.</li> <li>Highly organized with strong <strong>communication and problem-solving skills</strong>.</li> <li>Experienced in working with <strong>individuals with disabilities in a residential setting</strong>.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supervise and support <strong>direct care staff</strong>, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies.</li> <li>Assist residents with <strong>daily living activities</strong>, including meal prep, hygiene, and medication management.</li> <li>Ensure a <strong>safe, clean, and positive home environment</strong> for residents.</li> <li>Monitor residents' progress and <strong>develop individualized care plans</strong>.</li> <li>Manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for staff.</li> <li>Foster <strong>community engagement</strong> by supporting residents in social and recreational activities.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>Must meet, at minimum, one of the following criteria:</li> <li>Possession of a valid vocational nurse or psychiatric technician license issued by the Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners.</li> <li>Completion of at least 30 college or university units in education, social services, behavioral sciences, health sciences, or related fields, <strong>AND</strong> six (6) months experience providing direct support to developmentally disabled persons.</li> <li>Eighteen (18) months experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled person under the supervision of a qualified intellectual disability professional</li> <li>Valid <strong>CA Driver&rsquo;s License</strong> with a clean driving record.</li> <li>Ability to <strong>lift 50 lbs</strong> and assist residents with mobility needs.</li> <li>Strong skills in <strong>scheduling, documentation, and team leadership</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points If You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have experience with <strong>electronic case management systems</strong> (Therap preferred).</li> <li>Are fluent in multiple languages (English, Spanish, or Tagalog preferred).</li> <li>Have prior experience in <strong>staff training and development</strong>.</li> </ul>
