We&rsquo;re looking for Job Coaches to support The Arc of San Diego&rsquo;s food service employment program at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (Military site, MCRD) location.</p> <p>Location: MCRD</p> <p>Schedule: Sat- Wed 4a-12p</p> <p>Pay: The pay for this position is $21.00 to $21.65.</p> <p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>As a&nbsp;<a href="https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:US:40726100-d563-4c28-b38a-32a7e8319fc9" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Job Coach&nbsp;</a>at the MCRD food service program,&nbsp; you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they work in a food service environment. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and train clients, ensuring they successfully complete their tasks while meeting the required standards of quality and productivity. You will also help clients develop their vocational skills and integrate into the workplace, fostering positive relationships with staff and stakeholders at the site. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supervise and provide job coaching support to individuals with disabilities as they work at the MCRD site.</li> <li>Provide training and guidance to help clients develop job skills and meet work tasks as required by the Military and Sodexo.</li> <li>Assist clients in following their Individual Service Plans (ISP) to promote independence.</li> <li>Build positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and site staff.</li> <li>Monitor and document client progress using the Therap system.</li> <li>Ensure client safety and support them in daily activities.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED.</li> <li>One (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.</li> <li>Valid California Driver&rsquo;s License, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We&rsquo;d love it if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Are bilingual in English and Spanish.</li> <li>Have basic computer skills and familiarity with mobile devices.</li> <li>Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred).</li> </ul>
