As a <a href="https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:US:11427efb-14cf-4a4b-a846-cdb13295ba52" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Residential Specialist Floater,</strong></a> you&rsquo;ll have the unique opportunity to support multiple residential homes within an assigned geographical area, providing vital, culturally sensitive direct support services. Reporting to the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in fostering independence and inclusion for program residents. Through person-centered approaches and strategies, you&rsquo;ll empower individuals to actively engage in every aspect of their daily lives, exercise choice and control, and achieve greater independence. Your role will include filling&nbsp;in for planned and unplanned vacancies and absences of Residential Specialists as assigned by QIDP and/or other Residential Management.&nbsp;</p> <p>Location: Santee</p> <p>Pay: The pay for this position is $20.50 to $21.15</p> <p>Schedule: Sun- Thurs 3p-11p</p> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You enjoy variety in your workday and can adapt to working in multiple residential homes.</li> <li>You are compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities.</li> <li>You have strong communication skills and thrive in team-oriented environments.</li> </ul> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Traveling between designated residential homes as needed to provide direct support.</li> <li>Assisting residents with daily living activities, personal care, and participation in meaningful activities.</li> <li>Supporting residents in achieving their Individual Program Plan goals and fostering independence.</li> <li>Administering medications and monitoring health-related needs.</li> <li>Creating a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.</li> </ul>
