Your role will focus on assisting clients with <strong>daily living skills, personal care, and participation in social and recreational activities</strong>.</p> <ul> <li>Location: Nourth County</li> <li>Schedule: Varies</li> <li>Pay: The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $20.65</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Passionate about <strong>helping others achieve independence</strong>.</li> <li>Comfortable assisting with <strong>daily living activities</strong> and personal care.</li> <li>Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference.</li> </ul> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support clients in <strong>developing life skills</strong>, including meal preparation, budgeting, and transportation.</li> <li>Assist with <strong>personal care needs</strong> such as hygiene, grooming, and mobility.</li> <li>Encourage <strong>community engagement</strong> by accompanying clients to social, recreational, and volunteer activities.</li> <li>Monitor and report on clients' progress, ensuring they receive <strong>person-centered</strong> support.</li> <li>Provide emotional support and promote a <strong>safe, inclusive environment</strong>.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED.</li> <li>Two (2) years of related experience and/or training working with persons with developmental disabilities.</li> <li>Valid <strong>CA Driver&rsquo;s License</strong> with a clean driving record.</li> <li>Ability to <strong>lift 50 lbs</strong> and assist with mobility as needed.</li> <li>Comfort using <strong>basic technology</strong> for documentation and communication.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points If You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Speak multiple languages (English, Spanish, or Tagalog preferred).</li> <li>Have experience with <strong>electronic case management systems</strong> (Therap preferred).</li> </ul>
