You&rsquo;ll ensure that residents receive&nbsp;<strong>personalized support</strong>, while supervising staff and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.</p> <p>Location: Santana</p> <p>Schedule: Tues- Sat 9a-5p</p> <p>Pay: The pay for this position is $23.00 to $23.00.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A compassionate leader who is passionate about&nbsp;<strong>helping others thrive</strong>.</li> <li>Highly organized with strong&nbsp;<strong>communication and problem-solving skills</strong>.</li> <li>Experienced in working with&nbsp;<strong>individuals with disabilities in a residential setting</strong>.</li> </ul> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supervise and support&nbsp;<strong>direct care staff</strong>, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies.</li> <li>Assist residents with&nbsp;<strong>daily living activities</strong>, including meal prep, hygiene, and medication management.</li> <li>Ensure a&nbsp;<strong>safe, clean, and positive home environment</strong>&nbsp;for residents.</li> <li>Monitor residents' progress and&nbsp;<strong>develop individualized care plans</strong>.</li> <li>Manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for staff.</li> <li>Foster&nbsp;<strong>community engagement</strong>&nbsp;by supporting residents in social and recreational activities.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>Must meet, at minimum, one of the following criteria:</li> </ul> <ul> <li> <ol> <li>Possession of a valid vocational nurse or psychiatric technician license issued by the Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners.</li> <li>Completion of at least 30 college or university units in education, social services, behavioral sciences, health sciences, or related fields,&nbsp;<strong>AND</strong>&nbsp;six (6) months experience providing direct support to developmentally disabled persons.</li> <li>Eighteen (18) months experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled person under the supervision of a qualified intellectual disability professional</li> </ol> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Valid&nbsp;<strong>CA Driver&rsquo;s License</strong>&nbsp;with a clean driving record.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to&nbsp;<strong>lift 50 lbs</strong>&nbsp;and assist residents with mobility needs.</li> <li>Strong skills in&nbsp;<strong>scheduling, documentation, and team leadership</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points If You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have experience with&nbsp;<strong>electronic case management systems</strong>&nbsp;(Therap preferred).</li> <li>Are fluent in multiple languages (English, Spanish, or Tagalog preferred).</li> <li>Have prior experience in&nbsp;<strong>staff training and development</strong>.</li> </ul>
