As the Senior Director of Employment Services, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing employment opportunities that transform lives and drive inclusive growth across San Diego County.</p> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Your Role:</strong> As the Senior Director of Employment Services, you'll be a driving force behind our mission. Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Leadership:</strong> Oversee and provide strategic leadership to our Employment Services units, including Community Employment Services, Work Activity Centers, and Group Employment Training. Your experience and guidance will ensure exceptional program performance.</li> <li><strong>Innovation:</strong> Combine your business acumen, relationship-building skills, and client advocacy to secure new contracts, nurture existing ones, and expand our footprint. You'll lead efforts to market services and deliver top-tier placement and support for individuals with disabilities.</li> <li>&nbsp;<strong>Collaboration:</strong> Create an environment of collaboration and accountability, fostering a sense of urgency and a commitment to excellence in all operational aspects. You'll supervise and mentor our team to maximize their potential and impact.</li> <li><strong>Strategic Partnerships:</strong> Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance, identify growth opportunities, and stay updated on industry developments. Your leadership will drive continuous quality improvement and innovation.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>Your experience and expertise will shine in this role if you possess:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field (Master's preferred).</li> <li>At least seven (7) years of supervisory experience, with a background in employment or rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities.</li> <li>Proven success in program compliance, contract management, and relationship-building with employers and stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience in project management and budget oversight.</li> <li>A strong understanding of CA Titles 17 &amp; 22.Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team.</li> <li>A collaborative mindset with the capability to navigate complex challenges and lead change.</li> </ul>
