Responsibilities: <p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Learn about the Auto Club Group and assigned business line products and services by receiving training through corporate education and/or on-the-job training.&nbsp; Assignments are based on business line needs, but should encompass professional level work that may include: gathering information, providing analysis and drawing conclusions and/or developing recommendations, conducting department business/system audits, developing reports, performing mathematical calculations for various transactions, selling and servicing of various ACG/affiliated products, etc.&nbsp;Good performers are eligible to return.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Program Components:</span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Must be available during the entire internship period as determined by department</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Project-focused, with specific group assignments and time to work together as a team&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">&nbsp;Individual assignments to assist Intern in gaining understanding of the day-to-day aspects of working in the department</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Other program components as determined by department</span></li> </ul> <div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">&nbsp;</span></div> <div> <p><strong><u><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Additional Items to Post for Travel Intern:</span></u></strong></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):</span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Completing, demonstrating and validating each component of the travel training curriculum and on-the job training assignments and skills as outlined at the beginning of the internship program.&nbsp;</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Gaining the necessary knowledge and skills to actively solicit and sell Auto Club Group travel products and services.&nbsp;</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Learning to provide professional guidance and counsel to customers regarding their travel requirements including offering ancillary products (hotel, car, insurance, etc.) to enhance the primary travel purchase.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Completing sales by making necessary travel arrangements including making reservations, collecting money and processing of documents per travel standards.</span></p> <div><u><span style="font-family: Arial;">&nbsp;</span></u></div> <p><u><span style="font-family: Arial;">Program Components:</span></u></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Training in Dearborn, MI for one week and in Aurora, IL for two weeks (tentative locations).&nbsp; The remaining weeks will be spent in Michigan Branch training locations (Flint, Macomb County, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Brighton and Grand Rapids).</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Transition to a AAA Travel Agent position</span></p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p><strong><u><span style="font-family: Arial;">Additional Items to Post for Audit Intern</span></u></strong></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Develops an understanding of ACG&rsquo;s audit approach, audit tools used, business process, accounting, and control systems, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues by completing tasks and projects in areas within the Audit department.&nbsp; Learns to assess workflows and risks and evaluate business processes and internal control structures.&nbsp; Performs IT, financial, operational, and/or other audits to test, evaluate, and document work performed and uses internal controls to identify and resolve operational, IT, accounting or reporting issues.&nbsp; Provides audit-related support to the team, including completing related projects (which could include data analytics) to support audit goals and objectives and attends meetings as necessary.</span></p> <p><strong><u><span style="font-family: Arial;">Additional Items to Post for Enterprise Risk Management Intern</span></u></strong></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Develops an understanding of ACG&rsquo;s Enterprise Risk Management approach, ERM tools used, and control systems by completing tasks and projects in areas within Enterprise Risk Management.&nbsp; Assists in the development and maintenance of risk management processes and governance framework, and will participate in various ERM-related meetings. Maintains the repository of ERM performance metrics/documentation.&nbsp; Prepares materials to facilitate risk discussions (e.g. agendas, minutes, presentation materials and analysis), Participates in assigned projects to support the department&rsquo;s business goals and objectives</span></p> </li> </ul> </div>
