Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Serve as a team member to provide assistance on small to medium-sized business projects/department assignments.</li> <li>Provide support to teams/departments in the use of various statistical/project management tools and processes.</li> <li>Perform special studies and provides analytical knowledge to aid project team staff/department in the development of innovative and effective recommendations.</li> <li>Assist management/team in activities relating to the development of communication, training plans, testing of programs, and implementation of projects/programs.</li> <li>Secure and study market trends to identify competitive advantages that may apply to projects/assignments.</li> <li>Research and prepare detailed reports, summaries, and analyses.</li> <li>Complete specific tasks as assigned to support activities including research analysis and preparation of proposals and recommendations.</li> <li>Act as liaison between assigned department/project and internal/external clients.</li> <li>Participate in the preparation of reports to all levels of management and outside organizations (e.g., Requests for Information, Requests of Proposals, milestone deliverable, budget/forecast reports, etc.).</li> <li>May develop and conduct training programs/sessions on implemented systems for business units.</li> <li>May maintain, control, analyze, reconcile and modify financial and statistical data, reports, and programs for budget and forecast activities.</li> <li>May balance and audit account transactions for the department using company and area specifications to ensure financial integrity.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Education:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field</li> <li>Related professional and/or technical certification</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Experience:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Researching, identifying, and resolving moderately complex business problems</li> <li>PC software applications (e.g. Windows 95 and 3.11 operating systems, MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access) to maximize job efficiency</li> <li>Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data for reports</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Knowledge and Skills:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Analysis, compilation, and interpretation of data</li> <li>Preparation and presentation of materials</li> <li>Planning and organizing of information</li> <li>Achieving stated objectives within the designated time frame</li> <li>Provide analytical skill/content knowledge to contribute to team, effort</li> <li>Take the initiative to explore alternative approaches to project tasks, existing processes, and other project objectives</li> <li>Perform a variety of concurrent activities</li> <li>Work with others in a team environment</li> <li>Interact with representatives of various business units</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li> </ul> <br />Important Note: The above statements describe the principal and essential functions, but not all functions that may be inherent in the job.
