Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Perform basic automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders to include front-end and brake work.</li> <li>Drive vehicles into service bays, prepare them for, and complete inspections</li> <li>Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to the customer.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness of the shop and work areas.</li> <li>Perform other duties as necessary.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Have a high school diploma or equivalent or technical school graduate/certification</li> <li>Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li> <li>Prior customer service experience</li> <li>3 to 7 years of experience repairing autos and trucks at dealership or automotive centers that provided knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources.</li> <li>Possesses and able to maintain 4 ASE Certifications (or their equivalents). A1-Engine Repair, A4-Suspension &amp; Steering, A5 &ndash; Brakes, A7-Heating and Air Conditioning and State Inspection Certification, preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources and training to independently perform a variety of basic to complex repairs and maintenance of automobile and truck vehicles.</li> <li>Ability to properly use equipment and tools and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.</li> </ul> <p align="left">&nbsp;</p> <p align="left">Successful Apprentice Automotive Service Technicians will possess excellent customer service and teamwork skills, effectively communicate and work under general supervision to consistently meet service standards.&nbsp;</p>
