Overview: <br />AAA The Auto Club Group is seeking a prospective, experienced&nbsp;<strong>Automotive Service Technician</strong>&nbsp;<strong>III</strong>&nbsp;to join our Care Care Plus Centers and perform automotive repair and maintenance and complete routine scheduled maintenance services for our AAA Car Care Plus members and customers.<br /><br /> <p><strong>About ACG:</strong><br /> <br /> The Auto Club Group (ACG) provides membership, travel, insurance and financial services offerings to approximately 9 million members and customers across 11 states and 2 U.S. territories through the AAA, Meemic and Fremont brands. Responsibilities: <p align="left">&nbsp;</p> <p align="left">In this position, you will have the opportunity to:</p> <ul> <li>Perform basic automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders on all types and levels of repairs, adjustments and maintenance work, including but not limited to light engine repair, electrical diagnoses and repair and light automatic transmission work.</li> <li>Drive vehicles into service bays, prepare them for and complete inspections</li> <li>Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to the customer.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness of the shop and work areas.</li> <li>Perform other duties as necessary.</li> </ul> <br /> <p align="left"><strong>How you will benefit:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Position eligible for a Sign-on Bonus &ndash; amount to be determined based on experience<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp;</span></span></li> <li>Competitive Pay Range of $25.63 &ndash; 37.03/hour</li> <li>No Sunday or evening schedules. Requirements: <ul> <li>Have a high school diploma or equivalent or technical school graduate/certification</li> <li>Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li> <li>Prior customer service experience</li> <li>5 to 10 years of experience repairing autos and/or trucks at dealership or an automotive center</li> <li>Possesses and able to maintain 8 ASE Certifications with Master Technician (A1-A8) or equivalent combination of Technician certifications and ASE certifications. A9 &ndash; Light Vehicle Diesel Engines acceptable as an alternative to A2/A3 certifications</li> <li>ASE certification L1-Advanced Engine Performance Specialist and State Inspection Certification preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools and technical resources and training to independently perform a variety of basic to complex repairs and maintenance of automobile and truck vehicles.</li> <li>Ability to properly use equipment and tools and maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.</li> </ul> <p align="left">&nbsp;</p> <p align="left">Successful Automotive Service Technicians will possess excellent customer service and teamwork skills, effectively communicate and work under general supervision to consistently meet service standards.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p align="left"><strong>What it&rsquo;s like to work for us:</strong></p> <p align="left">We serve our members by making their satisfaction our highest priority.
