Responsibilities: <p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Prepares financial reports in accordance with corporate directives, statutory accounting principles, generally accepted accounting principles, and other regulatory requirements.&nbsp; Reconciles deposit, disbursement, product systems and other accounts.&nbsp; Maintains financial data and statistics on various automated systems. Coordinates interpretation of changes due to regulatory rulings. font-size: medium;">Preparing personal property tax returns and tax payment requests</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Reviewing assessment notices and contacts assessors as needed</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Participating in property tax audits</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Drafting annual property tax budget estimate</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Formally prepares, examines and ensures timeliness of supporting schedules to senior management, Board of Directors, internal and external auditors, National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and other external agencies.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Develops and coordinates the implementation of accounts on the automated reconciliation software.&nbsp; Identifies all required files, develops a sequence of inputs, the timing of schedule, and match rules.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Maintains the automation reconciliation security profiles and system administration tables.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Participates in the modification of new and existing data systems to ensure compliance with area specifications and financial integrity.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Represents finance on corporate teams and initiatives to ensure compliance with financial specifications and integrity.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Monitors the preparation of reports concerning account activities such as account analyses for management and the schedule for external auditors.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Assists less senior staff in resolving automation reconciliation software issues and problems.</span></li> </ul> <div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">&nbsp;</span></div> <div><span style="font-family: Arial;
