Perform second-level review of files that require an exception.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Maintain Production and Quality Performance metrics for the team.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide input into operational initiatives, benchmarks, and metrics to meet department objectives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert in residential processing for the Business unit.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor and codify Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and specific investor processing requirements and/or overlays, portfolio requirements, and industry trends related to loan processing.</li> <li>Work with Systems Administration to maintain the processing within the Loan Origination System.</li> <li>Monitor vendors' performance as required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure integrity of all state and federal regulations affecting the processing and issuance of mortgage credit to borrowers to ensure guideline and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Review and sign off on HMDA action dates regarding loan withdrawals and other items as needed to ensure all home loans originated meet HUMDA requirements and are of investment quality.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide input for development and revision of department procedures related to processing residential real estate loans.</li> <li>Monitor FEMA declared disasters to mitigate associated risk.&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with Sales and Underwriting Manager(s) to optimize process flow and meet Business unit goals.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<br /><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:<u><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Select, hire, train, development, counsel, and discipline assigned staff in accordance with corporate Human Resource policies and procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage a team that provides administrative and operational support within the department.</li> </ul> <p align="left">&nbsp;</p> <p align="left">&nbsp;</p> <p align="left">With our powerful brand and the mentoring we offer, you will find your position as&nbsp;<strong>Mgr, Home Loan Processing&nbsp;</strong>can lead to a rewarding career at our growing organization.<br /><br /></p> <p align="left"><strong>How you will benefit:<br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Our Auto Club Group&nbsp;<strong>Mgr, Home Loan Processing&nbsp;</strong>earn a competitive salary with a potential of earning bonuses</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent and comprehensive benefits packages are just another reason to work for the Auto Club Group. Requirements: <p align="left"><strong>Education:<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><br /></span></strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university preferred</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Experience:<u><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Seven years of experience in the Mortgage Industry</li> <li>Five years of experience in residential mortgage Processing of mortgages sold in the secondary market</li> <li>Three years in managing a team</li> <li>Ability to manage and organize a large pipeline of mortgage loan production</li> <li>PC software applications&nbsp; including Word and Excel</li> <li>Experience working with Automated Underwriting Systems</li> <li>Prefer prior experience managing a team of processors in the Mortgage Industry preferred</li> <li>Processing Conventional (conforming and jumbo), FHA, VA loans preferred</li> <li>Processing in an Automated Underwriting system environment preferred</li> <li>Working in an Encompass based lender environment preferred</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Knowledge of:<u><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Mortgage and home equity loan/line products, services, pricing, tax, and regulatory processing requirements</li> <li>FCRA, ECOA, and other federal/state regulations regarding the extension of credit</li> <li>Processing requirements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and applicable investors</li> <li>Knowledge of mortgage compliance issues including RESPA dates and requirements&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Ability to:<u><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with the expansion of the current business plan allowing for the origination and sale of first mortgage loans in the secondary market to multiple investors and the GSEs</li> <li>Assist senior staff in building a growing residential lending business</li> <li>Display sound negotiation skills and good business judgment when working with the applicant(s) and outside lien holders to clear processing and title issues</li> <li>Identify and provide input for real estate loan processing procedure improvements</li> <li>Provide direction to and/or assist in the development and training of sales and processing staff when warranted</li> <li>Effectively communicate with Senior Management, internal and external customers, and external clients and vendors.</li> <li>Successful<strong>&nbsp;Mgr, Home Loan Processing&nbsp;</strong>will possess effective communication skills, ambition, motivation, and drive!</li> </ul> <br /> <p align="left"><strong>What it&rsquo;s like to work for us:</strong></p> <p align="left">We serve our members by making their satisfaction our highest priority.
