Responsibilities: <p>Responsible for the development and coordination of marketing campaigns directed toward The Auto Club Group&rsquo;s (ACG) external markets, including members, non-members and business partners for a multi-state environment. Handles high profile projects requiring extensive knowledge of typography, layout, color, production and visual communication. Performs art direction for segmented marketing campaigns aimed at target audiences. Develops advertising concepts and ideas which enhance and support ACG marketing programs; designs consistent with corporate tone and manner, campaign continuity and corporate identity standards. Researches and develops art direction for the full range of online and print media, including web, email, magazine/newspaper, direct response, collateral, sales promotion, point-of-purchase and outdoor. Coordinates the scheduling, printing and color proofing of advertising materials with numerous external printing resources. Coordinates activities of a large network of external graphic arts suppliers, design studio/art representatives, photographers and ad agency personnel. Works with ACG Procurement to identify and secure outside suppliers for photography, illustration, retouching and design. Ensures timeliness of advertising materials by prioritizing and producing projects and managing deadlines. May provide guidance and direction to others.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in content support for Social media platforms in a business setting (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.).</li> <li>Marketing experience in a multiple, diverse product environment.</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.</li> <li>Experience in a full-service advertising agency, or client-side marketing department in a large corporate environment.</li> <li>Ability to provide work guidance and direction to others.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)</strong></p> <ul> <li>College level coursework in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or a related field. &nbsp;Bachelor degree preferred.</li> </ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Marketing/advertising as an Art Director/Designer.</li> <li>Supporting marketing plans/strategies/advertising campaigns.</li> <li>Prioritizing work and working on multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Working in tandem with a copywriter.</li> <li>Designing/producing creative materials.</li> <li>Working under pressure to meet deadlines.</li> </ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Skilled in Macintosh platform and proficient in both In-design and Photoshop and knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud design and web applications,&nbsp;printer requirements and in-house pre-press processes.</li> <li>Wide variety of advanced advertising/marketing principles, including design and color theory, creative strategy, online and direct response advertising.</li> <li>Corporate identity principles.</li> <li>Externaland internal signage design.</li> <li>Pricing and budgeting for creative services such as photography, illustration, retouching and design.</li> <li>Developing and delivering creative files from concept to finished production.</li> <li>Preparing and delivering creative presentations to management.</li> <li>Communicating effectively with others in a work environment and with vendors.</li> <li>Working effectively in a fast-paced, diverse product, cross-channel environment.</li> <li>Working within established processes and guidelines.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>Portfolio will be required at time of interview.</p>
