Responsibilities: <p><strong><u>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <p>Prepares financial related analyses and research to support and facilitate timely management decisions and/or financial reports or statements. Performs tasks necessary to ensure data integrity within the financial systems. Analyzes and evaluates financial impact of various decisions or transactions on financial results. Interacts with other departments and management to provide timely follow-up to inquiries and requests for financial data. Interprets results and proves recommendations for appropriate action plans. Develops and maintains complex financial models. Prepares and presents written and oral reports/documents. Provides support for internal and external auditors by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries and implementing recommended changes. Coordinates, tests and documents system changes or upgrades. Represents finance on corporate teams and initiatives. Develops and maintains job documentation and procedures.</p> <p><strong><u>In addition to the primary duties and responsibilities (above):</u></strong></p> <p>Enhances functional area performance by assisting in the forecasting and budgeting process. Completes special projects including product profitability, business segment analysis, overhead analysis, etc., with clearly defined objectives and assumptions. Participates in maintaining, evaluating and updating financial and statistical data impacting the cost system.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Financial Planning and Analysis</strong></p> <p><u>Experience to include:</u></p> <ul> <li>Collection, analysis and support of the forecast and budget processes.</li> <li>Analysis of business segments within corporate environment.</li> <li>Analysis of product profitability and pricing scenarios.</li> <li>Application of various financial techniques to produce reports facilitating management decision making.</li> </ul> <p><u>Ability to:</u></p> <ul> <li>Prepare an in-depth analysis of statistical and financial data compared with peers, industry, corporate targets and history.</li> <li>Conduct analysis that includes cost/benefit, investment alternatives and &ldquo;business case&rdquo; project/prototype analyses.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><u>Education:</u></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.</li> </ul> <p><u>Experience to include:</u></p> <ul> <li>Preparing financial reports.</li> <li>Using automated accounting and/or management reporting systems.</li> <li>Preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial data and/or statistical data.</li> <li>Using various spreadsheet and word &ldquo;type&rdquo; software.</li> </ul> <p><u>Ability to:</u></p> <ul> <li>Communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.</li> <li>Research and analyze complex financial data.</li> <li>Analyze and problem solve.</li> <li>Organize and plan.</li> <li>Work independently.</li> <li>Participate on project teams.</li> <li>Work irregular or extended hours as required.</li> <li>Derive actionable conclusions from analyzing data and information.</li> </ul>
