Responsibilities: <p>Coordinates activities relative to the analysis of market readiness, service quality and/or process improvement within Corporate Claims. Independently leads teams or sub-teams on simple to moderately complex projects. Analyzes current operations, employee suggestions and data for improvement opportunities and develops recommendations for management review. Identifies project objectives/requirements and evaluates alternatives. Tests and implements innovative and cost-effective proposals that promote consistent, reliable, high quality and compliant claim service in new and existing markets. Communicates project status in accordance with established requirements. Prepares and coordinates the execution of project plans in accordance with departmental objectives. Evaluates effectiveness of implemented projects/initiates against Claims business goals/objectives taking, corrective action as required.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Training in process mapping.</li> <li>Project management experience.</li> <li>Training in instructional design.</li> <li>Insurance related coursework obtained from the Insurance Institute of America (IIA) or other similar source or claim related work experience.</li> <li>Total quality management training/experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience in:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conducting primary research.</li> <li>Benchmarking.</li> <li>Utilizing access and project software applications.</li> <li>Utilizing claim processing systems.</li> <li>Knowledge and application of process mapping.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify):</strong></p> <p><strong>Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
