Responsibilities: <p>Serves as a team member in designing, developing, implementing, and/or supporting moderately complex distributed or web-based information systems. Supports project tasks and codes and test programs and develops system documentation (e.g.; structure charts, screen designs, data flow diagrams, file layouts, report layouts, and job run descriptions) in accordance with IS standards.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.</li> <li>Technology certification.</li> <li>Development methodologies.</li> <li>Project Lifecycle course work.</li> <li>Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and problem solving.</li> <li>Understanding of cloud (AWS, Azure, Google).</li> <li>Understanding of Agile/ TDD (Test Driven Development).</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>College coursework in Computer Science or Information Systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical experience in:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Distributed, and/or web-based system development.</li> <li>Programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Similar).</li> <li>Database management systems (e.g.,&nbsp;DynamonDB, MonogoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Similar).</li> <li>Web development (HTML, UI, UX, CX).</li> <li>PC fundamental tools (MS Office).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge and skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Structured systems analysis, design, programming and testing.</li> <li>Mainframe and/or distributed computing fundamentals and concepts.</li> <li>Systems operation practices.</li> <li>Analyze business problems.</li> <li>Demonstrating strong analytical and investigative ability.</li> <li>Communicate effectively in a business setting.</li> <li>Evaluate information systems and understand the inter-dependencies between components.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve problems in a test, development or production environment.</li> <li>Write procedures and technical materials.</li> <li>Perform a variety of concurrent activities effectively.</li> </ul>
