Responsibilities: <p>This role will be charged with designing and building out our operations and execution capabilities; starting with core banking operations, and expanding to our mobile execution and experience flow. The role will focus on stabilizing the core of the bank to include but not be limited to: defining and implementing processes and procedures, creating reporting and analytics, driving synergies across all bank functions and the broader Auto Club Group (ACG) organization, developing our Vendor Management program, supporting the bank&rsquo;s DR and BCP plans. Strategically, this role will be an accountable owner on our team as we design and implement integrated digital experiences and platforms for our members.</p> <p>Capitalizing on the significant strength of the AAA brand, the bank will be integrating across the broader company responding to the shifting needs of the consumer market. The bank&rsquo;s vision is to design unique experiences from the customer lens; delivering a seamless, simple and effective interaction for the member across the broader organization. Starting with 9.8 million members within ACG&rsquo;s footprint, with the potential to deliver to the 59 million AAA members in the future.</p> <p>Supports the creation, implementation, maintenance and refinement across the bank&rsquo;s platforms and solutions to deliver focused member experiences. Defines the daily, weekly, monthly operational execution activities required to run the bank. Processes and procedures, reporting and analytics, DR/BCP, Operation and Contact center technology. Creates and manages a vendor management program across all Bank vendor partners. Maintains market intelligence and awareness on trends, competitors, and evolving capability required to position our solutions/experience and sustain a competitive edge. Supports solution delivery and implementation to provide profitable and competitive solutions. Drives interactions with the ACG CxO team to leverage their work in our strategy execution (Data analytics, UX, Marketing, etc.). Manages the operational platforms (deposits, loans, payments, etc) to consistently deliver exceptional quality services to our members. Interacts and maintains relationships with key stakeholders across the company and market. Explores and leverages efficiencies across ACG through banking products. (E.g. claims payments, roadside assistance, rewards and discounts).</p> <p><strong><u>Supervisory Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <p>Manage a team of Managers, Supervisors and/or professional staff. Select, hire, train, develop, counsel and discipline assigned staff in accordance with corporate and Human Resource policies and procedures.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, technology or other closely related area, or equivalent level of knowledge.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fifteen years of experience in the banking industry (focus on deposit, payment or lending operations).</li> <li>Large organization digital, operational or customer delivery experience.</li> <li>Ten to fifteen years of experience in in operations in the financial services industry with a minimum of five years in a management position.</li> <li>Strong experience in multi-channel delivery, with a proven ability to drive customer acquisition and relationship expansion in the consumer market.</li> <li>Experienced digital and operational experience (deposits, payments and/or card).</li> <li>Proven change agent, able to influence others, moving them towards attainment of common goals and objectives.</li> <li>Collaborative team leader.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge and Skills:</strong></p> <p><strong>Knowledge of:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of financial institution products and services.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Ability to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate Bank experiential leadership and display passion and optimism, motivating others to fulfill our vision.</li> <li>Outstanding leadership and team building skills, as well as the ability to develop these capabilities in others.</li> <li>Attract, retain and develop top talent.</li> <li>Demonstrate expert level skills in analytics, organization and problem solving.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills, sales and customer relations skills.</li> <li>Strong decision-making abilities; able to distinguish when a decision must be made with limited time and information from one requiring more data and deliberation; accurately assesses the impact of the decision.</li> </ul>
