Responsibilities: <p>Assists Executive in the evaluation and execution of state strategic and business development initiatives.</p> <p>Develops strategic business insights based on internal and external data and business analysis. Prepares and presents findings, analyses and assessments to senior leaders that aid in making conclusions and decisions. Gathers and distills strategic and tactical information and market analysis to create business recommendations that involve changes to operating practices and market focus.</p> <p>Manages projects and/or programs that drive the planning and execution of business strategy and business development activities.&nbsp; Create and maintain timely status reports for each project for the benefit of senior leadership.</p> <p>Assists in identifying, articulating and managing achievement of KPI&rsquo;s.</p> <p>Acts as liaison between Exec VP and employee communications to execute Florida communication strategy, to include periodic newsletters, social media postings (newsfeed), etc.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>MBA.</li> <li>Knowledge of ACG Business lines, market opportunities.</li> <li>Experience in insurance, or financial services industry preferred; inclusive of in-depth experience conducting market analysis and trends.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3 years of professional work experience in Management Consulting, Strategic Planning or similar area.</li> <li>Experience in business analytics to assess and develop strategic solutions for business opportunities and programs across a matrixed organization.</li> <li>Experience in business optimization and problem-solving roles.</li> <li>Strong experience in gathering actionable insights and performing financial modeling.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge and Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A good understanding in conducting analyses of strengths and weaknesses of a company from a market perspective. Experience with business case and ROI analysis and development strategic problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Strong project management skills with ability to lead multiple cross-functional and cross-departmental initiatives.</li> <li>Superior written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Interfaces and communicates effectively with all levels within the organization in a manner that is collaborative and respectful.</li> <li>Knowledge of key performance indicators with ability to help identify, articulate and manage achievement.</li> <li>Advanced skills using various analytical tools for market analysis, forecasting and conducting research projects.</li> <li>Strong statistical and mathematical skills.</li> <li>Good skills with Microsoft Excel, including use of pivot tables, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.</li> <li>Be a self-starter and work well alone or in a team environment.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills.</li> <li>Critical thinking ability.</li> </ul>
