Responsibilities: <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">This position is responsible for Auto Club Group&rsquo;s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program which includes program management, providing both oversight and direction for management of risks across the organization. Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, analyze, evaluate, handle, and monitor the company&rsquo;s operational and strategic risks. Develops risk management tools, practices, and policies to assess and report enterprise risks, for the organization to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework.</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">Position partners with the business leadership team to ensure that risks are identified and considered in the development of the strategic vision, and proactively manages to balance both the risk and rewards of the business. In this role the position will:</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <ul> <li>facilitate the organization&rsquo;s definition of risk appetite and tolerance</li> <li>coordinate risk assessments</li> <li>identify and report on key risks</li> <li>provide leadership to the Management Risk Committee.</li> </ul> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">Other duties for the position include:</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <ul> <li>delivering ERM training and on-going reinforcement as well as prepare and maintain the ERM framework documentation required by the Federal Reserve Bank.</li> <li>Preparing Annual Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) for the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services</li> <li>Monitoring and reports on Key Risk Metrics, and escalates issues</li> <li>Performing and/or coordinating additional modeling and analysis around Key Risks</li> <li>Tracking the reporting of emerging risks and events, and ensures follow up, creation of action plans, and adjustment of policies, processes and procedures as necessary</li> <li>Maintaining Key Risk Inventory</li> <li>Responsible for Quarterly ERM Risk Assessment</li> <li>Preparing presentation materials for the Board of Directors and relevant Committee(s)</li> <li>Participating in the department process relating to the selection, hiring, training and development of assigned staff.</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><u>Supervisory Responsibilities:</u></p> <div>Manages a group of financial/risk professionals and support staff who may work in one or more physical locations.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div>
