Generalist IV

Overview: <div><strong><u>Work Environment:</u></strong></div> <div>Works in a temperature controlled office environment. &nbsp;Occasional travel (less than 10% of work time) required with exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes.</div>
Responsibilities: <div>Provides the highest level support to management personnel regarding the implementation and administration of various Corporate HR programs. &nbsp;Coordinates and supports multiple HR functions. &nbsp;Acts as project leader for various HR projects. &nbsp;Provides guidance and direction to less senior staff members as necessary to achieve department objectives. &nbsp;Recommends and administers various HR policies and procedures. &nbsp;Assists in administering compensation and benefit functions, including the processing of annual open enrollment information, base salary adjustments, etc. &nbsp; Assists in monitoring Partners in Performance process to ensure the timely completion of tasks. &nbsp;Assists in the testing of PeopleSoft hardware and software as requested.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Serves as a resource to HR management, administrative staff and internal customers. &nbsp;Advises management of issues and recommends changes as appropriate. &nbsp;Acts as a liaison between intra-departmental and inter-departmental personnel to investigate inquiries, obtain accurate policy interpretation, and refer employees to content specialists. &nbsp;Develops spreadsheets and other relevant information for usage at presentations to departments, senior management, board of directors and others as directed by Human Resource management.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Develops, coordinates and presents informational programs to employee groups and retirees to facilitate better understanding of personnel policies/projects or changes to existing programs such as employment practices, time off procedures, Tax Deferred Savings Plan, dental and medical benefits, wellness programs, etc.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Recruits, screens and refers candidates for position openings and selections. &nbsp;Assists management in the counseling and mediation of employee relations issues.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Performs other related duties as assigned.</div>
