Overview: <p>The Auto Club Group (ACG) provides membership, travel, insurance and financial services offerings to approximately 9 million members and customers across 11 states and 2 U.S. territories through the AAA, Meemic and Fremont brands. ACG belongs to the national AAA federation and is the second largest AAA club in North America.</p> <p><u>Work Environment</u>: Work in a temperature-controlled office environment</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide consultative services, support and assistance with the recruitment and screening of Entrepreneurial Agent candidates across the company.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in the development of recruiting strategies, utilizing various screening techniques to including the development of candidate profiles, identification of comprehensive screening criteria, etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct preliminary interviews, administer tests, conduct background checks and validate capital to ensure appropriate financing to start business.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist management in the development of a corporate appointment plan and develop and manages the EA recruitment budget.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop selection instruments to assist in the hiring process and identify selection objectives, time lines and evaluate alternatives to present to management.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work to build a qualified candidate pool that supports corporate objectives.&nbsp; Coordinate pre-employment activities to include candidate reference and background checks in accordance with EEO guidelines, federal and state laws/regulations and established company EA guidelines.</li> <li>Work with various departments (e.g. Legal, Human Resources, Underwriting, Corporate Education, etc.)&nbsp; to complete the hiring process and integrates hiring activities and resources with other company initiatives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist sales force in resolving problems relative to recruitment needs and provides status reports to management regarding hiring efforts.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>:</p> <p><u>Education</u>:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.</li> <li>Property &amp; Casualty and Life and Health Sales licenses in assigned state (s).</li> </ul> <p><u>Experience:</u></p> <ul> <li>Recruitment of Entrepreneurial Agents.</li> <li>Agency management.</li> <li>Insurance sales/agency management.</li> <li>Administration of an insurance related program.</li> </ul> <p><u>Knowledge of:</u></p> <ul> <li>Insurance products and services.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)</strong></p> <p><u>Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):</u></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li> </ul> <p><u>Experience</u>:</p> <ul> <li>Analyzing and defining resource and skill requirements for the purpose of screening, recruiting and selecting successful candidates.</li> <li>Recruitment (LinkedIn, Monster, etc.) and selection tools.</li> <li>Development and implementation of sales strategies and promotional programs.</li> <li>Recruitment/development including (available agency resources, training on insurance products, etc) of insurance agents.</li> <li>Organization, planning and time management.</li> <li>Analysis and problem solving.</li> <li>Coordination and control of major projects.</li> <li>Providing work direction and guidance to others.</li> </ul> <p><u>Knowledge and Skills</u>:</p> <ul> <li>Marketing principles and their applications.</li> <li>Effective recruitment and selection techniques including utilization of business, agency and academic resources.</li> <li>Developing and monitoring operating budgets.</li> <li>Organization and planning.</li> <li>Analyzing and summarizing data.</li> <li>The full recruitment cycle.</li> </ul> <p><u>Ability to</u>:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and conduct presentations for all levels of management.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with EA candidates to share complex information including business start-up responsibilities, capital investment, etc.</li> <li>Conduct cost/benefit analysis of various recruitment strategies.</li> <li>Safely operate a motor vehicle.</li> <li>Travel as required.</li> </ul>
