Responsibilities: <p>Outbound Membership Call Center Sales Professionals&nbsp;are dedicated representatives who:</p> <ul> <li>Via outbound calling, are responsible for selling new memberships, persuading lapsed members to reinstate/renew their memberships, transferring membership from affiliate clubs, use consultative selling skills to upsell additional members/riders and other AAA Branded products whenever possible or applicable.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Initiate contact to potential prospects via use of various databases and approved platforms.</li> <li>Review/process address corrections and contact members to ensure there is no break in service.</li> <li>Respond to inbound calls for new memberships, renewals, transfers, and post-office returns and resolve problems impeding renewal or transfer of their membership.</li> <li>Perform membership database maintenance activities including computing membership fees, posting payments, verifying payments, refunds, duplications, address changes, updating membership expiration dates, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Consistently demonstrate a positive service attitude to fellow members by accurately and courteously explaining policies and procedures.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet proficiency.</li> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Previous experience in call center environment.</li> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Knowledge of database systems and Campaign Manager.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of ACG membership policies and procedures and transfer processes preferred.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group products.</li> </ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Two or more years of previous telephone representative experience that included sales/telemarketing.</li> </ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills:</p> <ul> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Ability to operate in a Windows based PC environment with a strong working knowledge of word processing and database applications.</li> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Ability to have patience on the phone and the desire to push for high outbound call volume.</li> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Must have excellent listening and communications skills, superb customer service skills and the ability to set personal goals based on job requirements.</li> <li style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Self-motivated with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.</li> </ul>
