Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Review all information submitted on a residential mortgage loan application and gather missing information to complete the loan submission process.&nbsp;</li> <li>Initiate and maintain contact with clients and Home Loan Originator throughout the processing period.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure that all documentation is complete and meet all requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Calculate debt-to income and loan-to-value ratios and assemble a completely documented loan file for submission to underwriting within established timeframes.</li> <li>Submit loan through a desktop underwriting system (secondary market loan).&nbsp;</li> <li>Meet all conditions required by the automated loan origination system and/or the home loan underwriter.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare required loan disclosures in accordance with regulatory requirements. &nbsp;</li> <li>Review underwriting conditions as they are received to ensure documentation meets secondary market loan requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with mortgage loan officer to establish closing dates and meet standards for closing percentages of loans processed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform final review of completed applications packages and prepare files for approval.&nbsp;</li> <li>Alert underwriter to produce Decline/Withdrawal letters and assist underwriting with reason(s) for action.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain necessary records to ensure compliance with HMDA reporting requirements and follow-up with title companies for receipt of recorded documents.&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to departmental loan process flow.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identify and suggest process workflow enhancements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with supervisor to implement enhancements and integrate smoothly with other departments and systems within the company.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
