Responsibilities: <p align="left">The Auto Club Group is seeking prospective Home Loan Processors who can work with customers to complete the residential mortgage loan application and submission process.</p> <p align="left">In this position, you will have the opportunity to:</p> <ul> <li>Work with customers to ensure that all documentation for residential mortgages is complete and meets all requirements.</li> <li>Calculate debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios and assemble a fully documented loan file for submission for underwriting within established timeframes.</li> <li>Submit loans through desktop underwriting systems</li> <li>Fulfill all conditions required by automated loan origination systems and/or home loan underwriter</li> <li>Prepare required loan disclosures within regulatory requirements, review underwriting conditions as they are received to ensure documentation meets secondary market loan requirements, and work with mortgage loan officers to establish closing dates and meet standards for closing percentages of loans processed</li> <li>Perform final review of completed application packages and prepare files for final approval</li> <li>Alert underwriters to produce decline/withdrawal letters and assist with the reason(s) for action</li> <li>Maintain necessary records to ensure compliance with HMDA reporting and follow up with title companies for the receipt of recorded documents</li> </ul> <p align="left">With our powerful brand and the mentoring we offer, you will find your position as a&nbsp;<strong>Home Loan Processor&nbsp;</strong>can lead to a rewarding career at our growing organization.</p> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -59px; top: -20px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Have a high school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in a related field preferred</li> <li>2 years&rsquo; experience processing loans with a background in a high-volume environment, preferably in the mortgage broker industry preferred</li> <li>Experience in/with mortgage lending of first mortgages sold on the secondary market and processing conventional, FHA, VA and/or USDA loans, second mortgages and home equity lines of credit in a Processor, Closer/Funder or Post Closer capacity</li> <li>Possess a keen understanding of regulatory requirements and documents to include Reg Z, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Housing Act, and another state/federal consumer/lender regulations regarding the extension of credit</li> <li>Experience with Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS) and Encompass preferred</li> <li>Ability to perform mathematical functions to include fractions, ratios, and statistics and demonstrate knowledge of General Ledger entries and account balancing processes and techniques</li> </ul> <p align="left">Successful Home Loan Processors will be able to handle high volume applications, high attention to detail-oriented, possess strong organization and have strong oral and written communication skills as well as have the ability to translate industry language to the end-user to fulfill loan requirements.</p> <p align="left">Important Note:</p> <p align="left">The above statements describe the principal and essential functions, but not all functions that may be inherent in the job.
