Responsibilities: <p>This position is responsible for marketing and selling life insurance, annuities, and other insurance-related products offered through AAA ACG Insurance agency to members and non-members, focusing on out-of-office sales activities.&nbsp;</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p>Develop lead and prospect new accounts through various marketing activities (mailings, referrals, networking, website, sales.com, seminars, etc.)&nbsp; for the purpose of conducting fact finding interviews to determine needs for coverage. Prepare proposals, and conduct closing interviews for Life and Annuity sales.&nbsp; Complete appropriate applications and forms and follows internal processing procedures to ensure transactions are handled in accordance with company policies and practices.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p>Assists Underwriting and Brokerage Departments in satisfying requirements.&nbsp; Responds to customer inquiries and problems and ensures sound-sales practices are used.&nbsp; Prepares reports documenting prospecting and sales activities and maintains specified production standards and persistency levels for Life and Annuity sales.&nbsp;</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p>Position is primarily responsible for making outside sales and is actively involved in community, promoting Club as the expert and provider of choice for insurance and financial services.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>College level coursework in Business, Marketing, Insurance or other related field.</li> <li>Possession of valid State Health Sales license.</li> <li>Two years experience selling life and annuity products.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><u>Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify):</u></strong></p> <p><u>Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):</u></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Attain and maintain applicable state licenses to sell Life and Annuity products.</li> <li>Possession of valid State Driver&rsquo;s License.</li> </ul> <div><u>Experience:</u></div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Experience with a proven record of successfully soliciting and selling life insurance products.</li> </ul> <div><u>Knowledge and Skills:</u></div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Prospect and develop new Life insurance sales to meet production requirements using established guidelines</li> <li>Analyze customer needs, prepare proposals, and conduct closing interviews to sell Life and Annuity products</li> <li>Communicate complex information in a clear manner</li> <li>Accurately assess and reflect customer insurance requirements consistent with company standards when writing policies</li> <li>Work independently with minimal supervision</li> <li>Represent Auto Club Life in a professional and positive manner</li> <li>Safely operate a motor vehicle in order to travel to various locations to attend meetings</li> <li>Navigate through a PC Windows environment, including accessing information from multiple applications</li> </ul>
