Responsibilities: <p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Receive and process telephone calls for customer service requests and sales in a call center environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicate with customers via email and online chat.&nbsp;</li> <li>Navigate through various sources to gather the necessary information in order to respond to customer questions or concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.</li> <li>Provide banking account information and explain product features to customers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist customers with technical difficulties related to online, mobile and automated banking systems to include: electronic transfers, online enrollment, etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist customers in completing financial transactions related to their bank accounts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Open deposit products such as checking, savings, CD, IRA accounts and safe deposit boxes.&nbsp; Process deposit applications from the field.&nbsp;</li> <li>Make outbound calls to customers to follow-up on applications and service requests.&nbsp;</li> <li>Follow-up with customers and internal departments to ensure that all documentation is received and in compliance with bank procedures.&nbsp;</li> <li>Promote seamless service to ensure customer satisfaction goals and standards are met.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank and The Auto Club Group products and services including: deposit products, loans, trust, credit cards and AAA membership and insurance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct sales calls to increase deposits and loans and offer additional bank products and services in the effort to retain existing customers.&nbsp;</li> <li>Determine the need for a particular type of product/service and refer to appropriate area (i.e.: Mortgage, Auto and Consumer Lending) as necessary.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrate a clear understanding and application of bank and regulatory procedures.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1 year personal banking experience or 3 years retail sales experience working within a customer service environment.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Knowledge of:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook</li> <li>Effective business writing skills</li> <li>Customer service techniques</li> <li>Selling techniques</li> </ul> <strong>Ability to:</strong> <ul> <li>Open and maintain deposit accounts for customers.</li> <li>Accept&nbsp; consumer loan applications, follow-up with customers on documentation and close consumer loans.</li> <li>Perform account maintenance on customer accounts.</li> <li>Sell bank products and services to consumers, by phone, through e-mail or through online chat.</li> <li>Effectively communicate with current and potential customers by phone or through online chat.</li> <li>Perform bank image capture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with Fiserv</li> </ul>
