Overview: The Business Development Coordinator develops relationships through external sales efforts to grow and exceed census and revenue goals.<br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Must be able to find the appropriate balance between marketing, sales and customer service activities.</li> <li>Maintain core knowledge of our clinical services provided, healthcare industry, and local market conditions.</li> <li>Must be able to handle complexity and change in marketing/sales strategy if the market demands a shift in strategy.</li> </ul> <br /><br />Sales Expectations:<br /><br /> <ul> <li>Provide clinical communication through various tools available to physicians, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals.</li> <li>Prepare and maintain referral target list.</li> <li>Meet or exceed set number of sales calls to achieve census goals.</li> <li>Pre-call planning, outcomes and next steps needed to achieve desired outcome of all sales calls.</li> <li>Effectively communicate core selling message to identified referral targets.</li> <li>Communicate with Regional Director of Business Development on any changes in market conditions.</li> </ul> <br /><br />Marketing Expectations for a BDC:<br /> <br /> <ul> <li>Prepare and maintain monthly marketing plan.</li> <li>Manage marketing budget and Return on Investment on all marketing-related expenses.</li> <li>Coordinates and implements events, media, networking activities and promotional programs.</li> <li>Understand market conditions and opportunities to grow census and revenue.</li> <li>Communicates and works with Regional Director of Business Development on all marketing campaigns to maximize the overall Return of Investment.</li> <li>Coordinate all marketing, advertising, and social media campaigns to align with overall marketing strategy.</li> </ul> <br /><br />Customer Service Expectation for a Business Development Coordinator:<br /><br /> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to enhance customer service and patient/family satisfaction.</li> <li>Communicate with admission team on leads and potential admissions.</li> <li>Enhance care coordination and the care continuum through streamlining admission and discharge process.</li> </ul>
